Bio: Brendon James-Benavides Peacock has been a runner since he was young; he loved running Jog-A-Thon’s in elementary school and started doing Triathlons when he was about ten. In middle school he ran Track and Field on the school’s team which propelled him into an enjoyable and successful high school running career at Long Beach Poly High School. While at Poly, Brendon ran Cross Country and Track for four years and became part of the Varsity squad as a Junior. He was also Captain his Junior and Senior year. His team won Moore League three out of four years while he was there. Brendon continued to run to stay in shape after high school, and he is now very excited and blessed to be able to coach the St. Pius X- St. Matthias Academy Warriors. Running truly shaped Brendon into the man he is today, and he considers it an honor to pass the values and passion he has for the sport onto the next generation.
